British Columbia - Southern Vancouver Island, Part III

Since it was our last full day in Canada, we decided to go to Niagara Falls.

Beautiful, eh? This is the Niagara Falls in Goldstream Provincial Park in British Columbia which is actually taller than the more famous Niagara Falls in Ontario.

Bill did a loop hike from the campground on a number of connecting trails and met Barbara mid-day for the falls hike. Other highlights were Mt Finlayson, the Niagara gorge railroad trestle, and an 1863 gold mine.

Mt Finlayson was a steep rocky trail but had great views from the top.

Tomorrow we return to the United States, hopefully on the 6:10AM ferry, so we finished the produce and dairy for dinner and hitched the trailer before calling it a night.
