Another beautiful day here on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
We are staying outside of Ucluelet.
Our plan for the day was to hike the Wild Pacific Trail. The entire trail is about 5 miles in two main
sections along the coast of Ucluelet. We first traversed the first section, Lighthouse
Loop, which circles the tip of the peninsula.
Along with the view of the lighthouse were numerous benches with many spectacular
overlooks. We really took our time on
this trail – stopping at every scenic overlook and there were lots. Barbara
even found her first British Columbia letterbox.
Here is the lighthouse.

Bill continued on the second section. Here is one of his shots.
Then we went back to our campsite. Here is the view from our campsite (a bit hard to shoot with
contrasting lighting and branches in the way).
Another beautiful day at the Pacific
Ocean!
