Section 8 – mm 86-0
We continued along on our
last stretch of the Blue Ridge
Parkway. We traveled this stretch before with the
family back in 2002 and one smaller section last year.
At one of the rest stops
near the James River, Barbara spotted these

The scenes at the overlooks
showed a myriad of cloud activity.
Our last overlook was Ravens
Roost.
We enjoyed our 469-mile
journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway
skirting up and down the Appalachian Mountains
often with endless views of parallel ranges. Now we are catching up on
logistics before we head into Shenandoah
National Park.
