We celebrated Carrie’s graduation from Boston College, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Faith, Peace and Justice.
Boston College had two days of ceremonies. The first day included
the baccalaureate mass, honors ceremonies, and receptions.

The first day was a
beautiful spring day and the campus looked gorgeous, so we took plenty of
pictures. We like our before/after pictures: the first picture taken at
Carrie’s freshman orientation and the last at her graduation.
The second day was the
actual graduation, held outside in the stadium.
It started cold and overcast
and then began to rain during the ceremony. We were glad that BC provided
ponchos, but it was wet and chilly. Kate was coming down with a cold, Josh
(Kate’s boyfriend) had taken off from work, and even the graduates were getting
soaked. By the time Carrie got her diploma the rain stopped and we were all
smiling after the ceremony. Congratulations Carrie!
