Planning Where to Go

In our last post, we talked about PICKING WHAT TO GET and PREPARING FOR WHAT WE GOT. Now onto PLANNING WHERE TO GO.

Our trailer is being built in Chilliwack, British Columbia – over 3,000 miles away!

When we ordered the trailer we were given two choices: have it delivered or drive out and pick it up.  Technically if we make a beeline there and back and avoid expensive places to stay, it is cheaper to pick it up ourselves. People who made the trek told us they enjoyed seeing the factory and meeting the owners.  Another factor in our choice was that we haven't seen the Pacific Northwest. So we decided to pick it up. Here are some of the things we might see. Do you know any of them?

So this is the plan -- 8993 miles!

And slightly more detail.

In the meantime, while we plan and prepare, work progresses on our trailer.  Here are the latest pictures.  It is starting to look like a trailer.
